Macroom Music Fest is a 2 day festival starting on the Friday evening with Music/local Bands being played in all Bars. On the Saturday the concert gates open at 5:30 with all acts playing that night with the concert finishing at 11:30. There will be entertainment in all bars afterwards.

Macroom Music Fest takes place in The Square, Macroom, Co. Cork. Macroom town is situated c.40km west of Cork city Centre (40 minutes drive), C.27km from Ballincollig (25 minutes drive) and c.30 minutes drive from Killarney. Macroom is accessible by all bus routes from Killarney/Tralee to Cork and all other areas.

There will be 8ft screened fencing all around the permitter of the Concert.

There is parking available in a number of areas within Macroom town, EG, The Mart yard and the Council parking area by Dunnes. Please view map below. Get here early to secure a space. 

The festival will open on the Friday Night with Music in all bars. The Gates for the concert will open at 5:00 on Saturday with the 1^st Band on stage at 5:30.

The Gates will open at 5:30 with Music starting shortly after with all three bands finishing up at 11:30

Stringent searches will be conducted upon entry to the festival. Any item(s), carrying illicit items, which may be considered  use as a weapon, or which may cause dangerous to any other persons at the event, will be confiscated

Macroom Music Fest is strictly over 18’s and ID will be required upon entry.

There will be a large variety of food available on the concert site during the concert. There is plenty of restaurants and fast food places available in the town of Macroom for everyone to enjoy before the festival.

Heineken will have a large bar on site during the concert.

There are no ATM’s located on site. 

Yes. Your hand will be stamped when you leave the site.

You will not be able to drive directly through the town. There will be road diversions in place prior to and during the concert. There will be pedestrian access around the permitter of the concert area on most footpaths.

St. Johns Ambulance will be on site for the duration of the concert as well as the Gardaí.

Toilets / Portoloos will be available on site for both men and women.

There will be a full team of security for the Concert and afterwards
