In 1993 aged 18, Mundy moved to Dublin from his home town Birr, Co.Offaly. He began busking and frequenting Dublin’s open mike circuit. After a break up with a girlfriend he penned some of his most loved songs like ‘Gin and Tonic Sky’ and ‘To you i Bestow’ (which later featured on Baz Luhrmann’s ‘Romeo and Juliet’ movie soundtrack).
It was these first songs that drummed up massive interest from a lot of major Record Labels in the U.K and that’s how Mundy ended up getting signed to Sony’s Epic Records. Jelly Legs was released in October 1996. He also signed a publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music.
Since 1996 Mundy has released 8 Albums showcasing his eclectic styles in music from Rock,Americana,Folk and Indie. Six of these albums have been in the Top Ten in Ireland including ‘Raining Down Arrows’ which went straight in at number 1!
The Riptide Movement
The Riptide Movement are a Gold selling, Choice nominated, Number 1 rock band from Dublin, Ireland. With five studio albums to their name and a string of hit songs including “All Works Out”, “You & I”, “Elephant in the Room”, “Changeling”, and “Something Special”.The band was formed in 2006 by songwriter and vocalist Malachy Tuohy, guitarist John Dalton, bassist and harmonica player Gerry McGarry and drummer Gar Byrne.

The Frank and Walters are an indie rock band from Cork City. They arrived on the indie scene in the 1990’s, creating classic hits such as After All, Happy Busman and Fashion Crisis Hits New York.
They are one of the most recognisable alternative rock bands in Ireland and have been an extremely popular live act for over 30 years. The band features Paul Linehan (Lead vocal & bass), Ashley Keating- (Drums) Rory Murphy (lead Guitar) and Cian Corbett (Keyboards).
